For the past eleven years, “GEMS Youth Fest” has been one of the showpiece events of GEMS where school and high school students from GEMS as well as various other institutions within Kathmandu valley come together to partake in this grand event, which presents the best in music, food, and entertainment while making contributions to several charitable causes. The funds collected through the “GEMS Youth Fest” are utilized in donating cash as well as essential items such as blankets, bed sheets, and food items to orphans, elderly people, and autistic children. GEMS has been working closely with community schools, orphanages, and old age homes and supports them through the “GEMS Youth Fest” proceeds as well as various other fundraiser programs organized by the High School.

Those who attend the “GEMS Youth Fest” will be able to engage themselves in a variety of fun activities and have an opportunity to enjoy a variety of food items prepared by some of Kathmandu’s best restaurants and eateries. The event also provides an opportunity for students to gather information about reputed colleges and universities abroad. Moreover, this annual event provides an occasion for the members of GEMS Alumni to come onto one platform for an effective and enjoyable gathering and extend a mutually satisfying collaboration. As this annual event receives over 7,000 spectators, it will greatly help promote the businesses of sponsoring agencies and corporate houses and create awareness in today’s youth about education, national cultural heritage, and the environment.
